I guess this is as good a place as any to write this. Lately I have been struggling with myself in many ways, but the biggest struggle has been the one I am trying now, which is giving up smoking after 30 years no applause please this is only day one lol.

It occurred to me that there is always adverts and schemes especially here in Australia which are supported by the government of each state and supported by the federal government. One would think the government really cared if we gave up smoking. Well I don't think they do , because do the government have the power to restrict and or ban products it doesn't deem appropriate the answer is yes. Think about game and movie censorship. Yet they sink millions of dollars into advertising to tell us smoking is wrong and to quit. Why not ban the sale of cigarettes totally and turn it into a criminal offence to be caught smoking. So tell me why can't/won't  the government stop the country smoking, it just makes me wonder.
